Ashley Hutchinson is the designer and printmaker behind Ash Leaf Printmaking Studio, based in the heart of Sussex. A Brighton University illustration graduate specialising in printmaking, Ashley creates limited-edition lino and woodcut prints distinguished by their hand-embossed detail. Each piece is printed and embossed by hand on one of his three etching presses, giving every design a beautiful texture and depth.
Inspired by the forms and patterns found in nature, Ashley combines organic influence with bold, graphic design. Alongside his fine art prints, he has worked in the greetings card industry for over fifteen years under his brand Linoking Cards, supplying leading retailers such as the RHS, the Eden Project, the National Trust, and the V&A.
In 2016, Ashley built his purpose-designed studio - nestled beneath an ash tree - where he continues to explore the art of printmaking, blending craftsmanship, precision, and a deep respect for natural materials.
