Kirsty Adams is an award-winning ceramicist with over twenty years of experience. Trained at Brighton Art College and on the potters’ wheel in Japan, Kirsty has developed a distinctive, personal approach to wheel-thrown porcelain. Her work blends refined craftsmanship with a deep sensitivity to material, creating elegant pieces for the home that celebrate simplicity, movement, and light.
Each vessel is unique, characterised by soft throwing lines made using a traditional Japanese comb tool, and finished with high-gloss glazes that evoke the fluid beauty of wet porcelain.
Kirsty has received multiple accolades, including the Crafts Council’s Artisan Craft Award, and was selected by both the Crafts Council and Fulham Pier Restaurant to create signature vases inspired by Constance Spry. She is represented by Design-Nation UK, the Society of Designer Craftsmen, and is recognised internationally as a Master Artisan by the Michelangelo Foundation’s Homo Faber Guide.
