Rachel creates sculptural wooden furniture and objects from locally sourced timber gathered in rural Dumfries and Galloway. Working with storm-felled and naturally fallen hardwoods, her practice is guided by the grain, texture, and character of each individual piece of wood, resulting in handcrafted works that balance function, materiality, and sculptural form.
